Valerie Torres-Torres was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. As the daughter of a military service member, she moved several times before eventually moving back to Puerto Rico where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology and graduated from Law School.

As an attorney in Puerto Rico, Valerie successfully negotiated deals and fought for the rights of clients who had been injured or wronged. She later moved to the state of Florida with her husband and son, searching for a better future for her family. After relocating several times from various parts of Florida to North Carolina, she finally established herself in the City of Greenville. If there is something Valerie knows about, it is moving and finding the perfect place to call home!!

In her spare time, Valerie enjoys trying to keep up with her 11-year-old son Derek and his adventures and spending time with her family. She also dedicates some of her time to making our community a better place for children and teenagers, who like Derek, are on the Autism Spectrum.
